Unlike other forms of quality control, the methods developed by Blade Diagnostics directly monitor the thing that causes IBDs to fail in the engine – vibratory response – while also taking into account material and geometric properties.

BDC’s IBD testing technology EzVIBES was developed to satisfy the exacting standards of the U.S. Air Force, and is being used at the Air Force repair facility to track IBD health. EzVIBES uses an automated vibration-based approach to capture mistuning quicker and with more accuracy than traditional methods, minimizing the risk of potential blade damage and maximizing profits.

Use EzVIBES and EzID, our software to characterize an IBD’s vibratory response, and ensure that the parts you manufacture today have the same low-vibration response as the parts that were engine-tested during product development.
